Welcome to Bates School of Music

We are excited to have you enrolled at our studio. We urge you to attend all lessons and there is no refund, make up or credit for missed lessons!

1. A $45 one-time enrollment fee is collected at the time of enrollment.

2.  One month worth of lessons (½ hour lesson week/4 weeks) is collected as a deposit at the time of enrollment. Your last month will be prepaid (upon giving 30 days notice of termination).

3.  All tuition is due on the last lesson of the month for the following month.

4. A late fee will be charged to any account if tuition is received after the 10th day of that month.

5.     To ensure progress, a minimum of a six-month commitment is required.

6.       A one-month notice is required in writing when a student will be discontinuing their lessons, otherwise you will be charged for that month.

7.       All lessons for the month must be paid for or your time is not reserved.

8.      Your scheduled time and day are not guaranteed if you take a vacation.

9.       There is a $38 fee for all returned checks.

10. Students participate in a summer (1st weekend in June) and Christmas (1st weekend in December) recital yearly.

11. A $10 venue rental fee per student will be added to the May tuition for the summer recital.
